Arthur E. Benjamin Invests in jOBS; Anticipates Spring Release

One of the most anticipated films of 2013 is the biopic “jOBS,” based on the life of late Apple CEO Steve Jobs. The film will hit theaters April 19, but Arthur E. Benjamin had the opportunity as an investor in the film to attend its premiere recently at the Sundance Film Festival. Stars of the film such as Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad were also on hand.

The film capitalizes on Kutcher’s uncanny resemblance to Jobs, while chronicling Jobs’ rise to prominence from modest beginnings, including inventions of industry changing technology like the iMac, iPod and iPhone.

“Steve Jobs was an innovator turned cultural icon,” Arthur says. “The world lost a great one with his untimely death. I feel fortunate to have invested in this project that allows Ashton to bring the character of Steve Jobs to life on the big screen. Having had the privilege to watch the film eight times, I know this film is sure to become part of American entrepreneurial studies & sciences, and a moving contribution to everyone who sees it.”
