The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation Acts as Presenting Sponsor at the 2011 Concours d’ Elegance Kick-Off Celebration

BOCA RATON, FL (February 2011) – Delray Beach executive and philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin’s non-profit organization, The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation, recently served as the presenting sponsor of the 2011 Concours d’ Elegance Kick-Off Celebration, held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The event was held in celebration of and to raise awareness for the 5th Annual Concours d’ Elegance, a three-day event for automotive enthusiasts and supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, being held February 25 through 27, 2011 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. More than 150 South Florida VIPs mingled over cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres while enjoying vendor displays by the Concours d’ Elegance and Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Ulysse Nardin, Ferrari-Maserti of Fort Lauderdale, Lichi-Zelman Style Interiors, 200 East, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Art with a Heart program, and more.

“The Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance has no paid producers or staff; all who take part are volunteers, meaning one hundred percent of the proceeds raised from this spectacular weekend go directly to those who need it most – the nearly 12,000 at-risk youth who are part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County,” said Benjamin. “The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation is privileged and honored to be a part of the Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance not only as an event sponsor, but also as host of the kick-off celebration to raise awareness for such an amazing event and its much-deserved beneficiary.”

The 2011 Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance presented by Mercedes-Benz is proudly celebrating its five year anniversary with a tremendous commemoration on February 25 through 27, 2011 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, FL. The three-day series of extravagant events will not only celebrate five successful years, but will also commemorate the 100th Year Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500, all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Honored guests and attendees will include a variety of celebrities and automotive racing and business professionals such as Jay Leno, the Unser Family, Helio Castroneves and H. Wayne Huizenga, to mention a few.

“We began this event five years ago for two reasons,” said Rick Case, Founder and Producer of the Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance. “One was to unite car enthusiasts from around the world and two was to support a much deserving charity; the Boys & Girls Clubs. Each year as the Concours evolves we add new and exciting elements. This year the addition of the Concours Kick-Off sponsored by The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation was a great way to showcase the Concours to a new audience. Thanks to our supporters, we are thrilled to say  not only is the Boca Raton Concours thriving but it has become, in a short five years, the fastest growing Concours in the country.”
