Renowned Philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin Contributes to Charity – Initiatives focused on Education, Children and the Animals

DELRAY BEACH, FL (April 5, 2011) –  South Florida-based executive and philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin continues to stay focused on contributing to numerous nationally recognized charities for over three decades. These include his core passions to help children, further education of at-risk youth and help animals find permanent homes alongside animal rescue.

Benjamin’s most recent South Florida effort includes support of the 2011 Blacks’ Annual Gala benefiting theConsequences Charity, which provides education for at-risk youth. Broadening his commitment to children and education, in February 2011, Benjamin was committed to helping raise funds for over 12 Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County serving 11,500 youths in need. His support helped the recent Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance raise over $3 million in a single weekend to support these clubs and the children who need them.

Having completed post-graduate studies with the world famous mathematician, philosopher and inventor, Buckminster Fuller, he changed his career path from broadcasting to education, and has since built three college groups from coast-to-coast. Through his dedication and continued efforts, Benjamin has touched the lives of tens of thousands of students and their families for the better.

While children are a passion his heart also stays true to the animals through American Dog Rescue, founded by Benjamin, which is committed to placing every healthy dog in a permanent home that is the right fit for the animal and its family. American Dog Rescue is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to finding a home for every adoptable dog in the United States.

Currently, Benjamin serves as Chairman of ATI Schools & Colleges, which encompasses 24 colleges from Florida to Arizona, and is a board member on the Florida Association of Private Postsecondary Schools & Colleges. Additionally, he sits on the national board of the Association of Private Colleges & Universities.

The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization created to assist the building and growth of other foundations through leadership, management, marketing, and public relations. Established by Delray Beach business leader and philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin, the Foundation’s core focus is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and animals, support young adults through educational efforts, and aid women in breast cancer recovery.
